Marcus D. Moore is a SAG-AFTRA Chicago-based actor and teaching artist from the South Suburbs with a love for creating stories that spark conversation and expand one's perspective. Marcus's TV credits include co-starring roles on NBC's CHICAGO FIRE, Warner Bros.' EMPEROR OF OCEAN PARK and FOX Networks' APB and a supporting role in the feature film THE UP AND COMER. He‘s also done commercials for InSinkErator, LiftMaster, Guaranteed Rate, and a national commercial for LOWE's. Marcus has worked at various Chicago theatres, such as The Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf, Congo Square, Drury Lane, Raven Theatre, and many more.
In 2022, Marcus starred in an audio drama series titled, Lake Song, produced by Make Believe Association. Lake Song was a 2022 Tribeca Festival Audio Official Selection that won three Signal Awards, including; Best Original Music/Score (Gold), Best Scripted Series (Silver), and Best Sound Design (Silver). Lake Song was also nominated for a Webby Award in the "Best Scripted Fiction Series Award" category and was named a "Show That Captured Our Imagination" by Apple Podcasts in 2022.
